Leonardo Contracting is a handyman / home repair service serving the Manalapan, NJ area since 1995.

Leonardo Contracting was established by Don Leonardo in Staten Island, NY 1995. Starting out as primarily as an exterior contractor, we did mainly framing, roofing and siding (exterior trades). Slowly over the years, we began to take on more trades. In 2001, we began full renovation projects.

Since then, we have been moving into the second generation. Being a family business, Don’s oldest son, Stephen has now followed in his father’s footsteps. Together, Leonardo Contracting offers all different types of home renovation capabilities.

This team did an amazing job. I had a ceiling in a 35 year old house about to collapse and Leonardo Contracting came in and did the job - they moved all the furniture out of the way, removed the damaged ceiling, replaced it with a new one, painted the ceiling and the walls and put all the furniture back and cleaned up to perfection. I highly recommend them for any construction jobs.

I’m May I had a flood, which completely gutted my first floor. I quoted 4 other contractors but did not feel drawn to any one, then I contacted Leonardo contracting and I’m so happy I did! Every step of the way Stephen and his crew took care of my house and all the necessary work seamlessly. Even with hiccups along the way that come with an older home, Stephen and his crew knew what to do, or what to do next. I could not be more happy with all the work that they did!!! Definitely experts and treat you like family on top of it! You will be utterly impressed with how clean they are too throughout the process!!!!
